I am a PhD student funded by the Darwin Trust of Edinburgh. I graduated with a BSc (Hons.) in Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2016 at Ajman University, and an MSc in Microbiology at the University of Aberdeen in 2018. I'm currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Edinburgh by working in the Wallace Lab on characterizing the role of the conserved RNA-binding virulence factor Ssd1 in localisation of its target mRNAs and their protein products.
